The first of four releases on the Coldharbour imprint in September sees Mario Hammer, no stranger to followers of Coldharbour Recordings, team up with fellow German producer Herbick with a tough and groovy offering, with a little help from the past.

The roots can be traced to 25 years ago, where German electropop group Boytronic released You as their debut single. Inspired by this track from their youth, Hammer and Herbick decided to bring the track back to life for 2008, with a sprinkle of the modern electro groove.

The remix package is one to be reckoned with. First up are another German duo and Coldharbour favourites Funabashi, whose remix immediately struck a rapport with Markus Schulz, featuring the track several times on Global DJ Broadcast in the first quarter of the year. Their remix has gone on to receive further support from the likes of Matt Darey.

Chicago's Blake Jarrell, who has enjoyed a busy schedule in 2008, spent some time in the studio at the beginning of the summer to offer a typical groovy interpretation, with a beautiful string-based break that will appeal to many. Unsurprisingly, Blake's remix has featured prominently in his own sets, particularly at his Amnesia appearances in Ibiza through July and August. Blake's remix comes in both vocal and instrumental versions.

Last but not least, Italian Dyor delivers the first of two remixes. Having caught the imagination of many with his track Emotions, he delivers a tough and pulsating remix already receiving support from many DJs. A second remix, entitled the Dyor Big Room Remix, shall be released on the next edition of Coldharbour Selections in October.
